Signalling Issue and Train Faults: Delays of Up to 20 Minutes
The Tyne & Wear Metro is currently experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes on the Green line between Pelaw and South Hylton due to a signalling issue. Additionally, some services on the Yellow line are not running this morning as trains are developing faults at the depot. Staff are working diligently to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
Road Closure in Ferryhill
There's a road closure in Ferryhill, County Durham, near the Eldon Arms and Ferryhill Station. Durham Constabulary advises people to avoid the area, which includes the Eldon Terrace (DL17 0AW).
Failed Trains Causing Delays
Tyne and Wear Metro reports delays of "up to 15 minutes or more" on both the Green and Yellow lines due to failed trains at the depot. The staff are working to get the trains back on schedule as quickly as possible.
