Tappet tool, double ended, for weaving in ends.

This is a recently requested tool.

My customer took a class with Lily Chin. While in the class, Lily used a double ended tappet tool to finish the ends of her knitting. So she came and asked if I have these.

Yes, here is the double ended tappet tool. The one side is for fingering yarns, sport weight yarns, sock yarns. The other end is larger and will handle D.K. weight and worsted weight yarns.

If you knit or crochet, this tool is for you.

How it works:

  • Lay the end across the back of your crochet or knitting where you want to weave it in, or sew it in.

  • Now my customer started at the very end and wove backwards toward where it was attached. I could see the tool filling up, and making it more difficult to use.
     

  • I would rather go half-way and weave/sew in the part of the end. Then go to the very end and weave/sew in the remainder of the end.
     

  • It's your choice.

I hope to have a small video illustrating my technique. But didn't want to make you wait to get the tool until then.
