Silver Reed SK860 Manual to Electronic Mid-gauge

The SK 860 is the newest knitting machine and the first of its kind anywhere! Part of the Modular System of Silver Reed Knitting Machines.

With a 6.5mm needle pitch (3.9 gauge), the SK860 is designed to work with all the yarns typically used by hand knitters. By knitting yarns that fall in the top range for a standard gauge machine and the in the lower range for a chunky machine, this machine can deliver the best of both worlds. (Knits fingering to American worsted 4 ply. American 4 ply is 1ply larger than D.K. yarn. The SK860 was created especially to handle D.K. yarns.)
